You Matter Too
Greeting:
Hey love,
Before anything else—I just want to say:
Welcome.
Not to a newsletter. Not to a program.
But to a space where you matter, too.
I started Baylor Strong after saying goodbye to my dad, who battled pancreatic cancer with strength, faith, and love. He wasn’t just my father—he was my best friend, my spiritual anchor, and the heart of our family.
The weight my family carried during that time was different than most.
We weren’t just navigating caregiving—we were holding the future of our ministry, the anxiety of what life would look like without him, and the ache of unanswered questions.
And still… we showed up. We prayed. We loved. We endured.
That’s why I created this space.
To remind caregivers that they are not invisible.
That their pain, their strength, their exhaustion, and their love all deserve to be seen.
So if no one’s asked you lately…
How’s your heart?
Have you eaten something that made you smile today?
Have you taken even five minutes to just be?
This space—this email—isn’t about doing more.
It’s about being held in the middle of everything you’re already doing.
